We’ve all had those days when nothing seems to go right, but we push through it and hope that tomorrow will be better…but, what happens when that one bad day becomes seven years?
For me, that day started on February 2, 2012…Groundhog Day. That was the day I had my gallbladder removed, the day that things were supposed to get better…but, it was the day things got horribly worse. I knew right away that something was wrong, even though they told me that everything went great. My surgery was at 10:00 that morning and I didn’t leave the hospital until 9:00 that evening. My pain was off the charts and trying to eat anything, even broth, was not working out. Still, they said that was normal and sent me home. Nothing has changed since that day…I still can’t eat or drink anything without extreme pain and feeling incredibly sick. It’s like the movie Groundhog Day, I have relived Feb. 2 over and over again for the past seven years…but, I still try to push through hoping tomorrow will be better.
“Not every day will be good…but, there is good in every day!”
